WHO IS YOUR TEACHER?
Julia is the founder and heart of Almond Sweet Boutique.
''Hi, I’m Yulia. I’ve been working in pastry and running a small baking business for over eight years. During this time, I studied with well-known pastry chefs and at pastry schools around the world. I gained strong hands-on experience and built a solid collection of knowledge, recipes, and ideas inspired by different culinary traditions. What started as a love for baking has grown into a large base of experience, and I didn’t want to keep it only in my notes. That’s why I decided to turn it into a clear, useful, and well-structured project.
My desserts and macarons have found loyal customers in Edinburgh and beyond. Today, I know that teaching and sharing knowledge is just as important to me as baking itself.
With Almond Club, I bring together dessert lovers, home bakers, and professionals who want reliable recipes, practical knowledge, and real support. I share not only recipes, but also real experience, working systems, and everything I use in my daily work.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
We choose a theme of the month — for example, Spain. During the month, we explore at least two popular Spanish desserts. These are simple, well-loved recipes that I have tested myself and that ANYONE CAN MAKE AT HOME.
Then we create new macaron flavours inspired by these desserts. I explain my approach how a classic dessert can be transformed into a macaron while keeping its original taste.
and finally you receive ready-to-use recipes in a clear technical card format, which you can print and keep as part of your family recipe book.
